I've never asked a question on a forum, but I really am stumped.
I have a 3.9 undergrad GPA, and have a J.D. (summa). I took the DAT, scores as follows:
PAT: 17
QR: 17
BIO: 19
GC: 22
OC: 21
RC: 23
TS: 21
AA: 20
Clearly the PAT and the QR sucked. I think I would have a slim (emphasis on slim) chance if I applied this cycle. The problem comes with getting my letters of recommendation. I'm a nontraditional (clearly) and I hate the idea of tracking down my old college professors two years in a row.
Does anyone know if the AADSAS keeps the LOR to be reused in another application cycle? Or if you can request that they be kept?
Would it be really gauche to tell my professors that my application is weaker than I had hoped, but even if I don't get in, that I would be trying again and maybe save a copy of the rec.
All viewpoints welcome. Thanks!
