I recently took the DAT and my scores were as follows:
Biology: 20
Chm: 19
Orgo: 19
Reading: 21
Math: 14
PAT: 14
I have a Bachelor's degree in Biology with a 3.96 cumulative GPA and a 3.9 science GPA. I am currently doing my Masters degree in Public Health and working at a infectious disease lab. Should I re-take the DAT or do I have any chance of getting accepted?

Great scores except for PAT. You'll have to retake, sorry. I don't know of any schools which will accept a 14 for PAT, but call them to confirm.

darn, pretty solid scores except those two. Did you just neglect them in your studies?

Yes, I tried the PAT a couple of times and I got frustrated, so I stopped practicing, and I studied very little for the math. What do you recommend for the PAT? the only thing I kind of know how to do are the cubes, angles and hole punching🙁

Wait, you stopped practicing? Did you assume that It'd just come to you on test day? Wow....it's amazing how much people don't study for this test sometimes. It's your future here!

Unfortunately, I have to agree with everyone here. The PAT is a tad low. The threshold for PAT is a 15 minimum. I personally used Crack DAT PAT (10-test version) to practice for the PAT. Sure, it is very frustrating at first, but don't get demoralized! Practice makes perfect, especially for this section! You will definitely learn from your mistakes if you put the time and effort into it, and that means not giving up. Hard work is totally rewarded on this exam.

And as for math, I used Math Destroyer that came with my DAT Destroyer book. However, I also heard that Crack DAT Math is good as well.

I have to agree with this.. Simply because you run into something frustrating, doesn't mean it goes away if you ignore it. Welcome to the real world. 😀

Definitely retake them. Your GPA is awesome, but they look heavily at PAT to determine your success in the clinical part of dentistry. And most dental schools don't want anything below a 17 unfortunately. BUt hey you are clearly capable to do well, you have a sick GPA. I took it twice and the second Time I was able to really push past the 19 and have landed myself with PAT:24 AA: 22 TS:21

You can do it!!

I agree with everyone who recommends CrackDatPAT. Get the 10 test version (at least). When I started studying for the PAT I was originally like WTF, but a Ross video on Top/Front/End and 7 CrackDatPAT tests and I raised my first scores (14/15 and not finishing in the time limit) to 21-22, finishing on time.

wondering about my DAT scores as well- what are my chances?

PAT:18
RC: 20
QR: 19
BIO:19
CG:21
OC:21
AA:20
TS:20
🙁

Any insight would help! Thanks!

You have a great GPA and scores are good as well but like everyone said I think the math and PAT should be higher.
