Hey everybody! I just took my DAT (it's finally over!) BUT I had a quick question about how solid they are. I did alright, but am a bit disappointed with my science average.

PA: 21
QR: 23
RC: 23
BIO: 20
GC: 20
OC: 19
total science: 19
AA: 21

I was wondering how much they weigh the total science compared to the AA? I know dental schools want you to do well in all the sections but technically they care about QR the least, which isn't great for me since I don't have a very strong science score. Does anybody think this could be bad news for my application? I have a 3.6 GPA and am very involved, which I know is also important because they want you to be well rounded. I'm so happy to have this over with but I feel conflicted on whether I'm happy with my scores or not.

Congratulations, You scores are very consistent with nothing low, great reading score BTW. You should have no problems getting interviews at some schools, it just depends on where you are applying. I would be best to call the schools, they will give you the best advice.

Good luck to you...

Thanks Dr. Romano! When you say advice, do you mean whether I should apply to their program or not?
