DAT Scores (sending)

I took a DAT about a week ago and chose 5 schools to send the scores to.

Do schools accept and keep the scores even though the applicant's AADSAS application is not arrived yet? or do they just throw it away?

Also, it takes about 2 weeks for the scores to get to the schools right? once I submit a request?
