hey all, this is my first time posting on SDN but i just took the DAT last week and I am debating whether or not to retake the test in august. my scores are:
Bio - 16
GChem - 21
OChem - 19
PAT - 18
RC - 21
QR - 18
TS -18
AA - 19

I know my bio score is super low and my markers ran out of ink during the PAT and QR which wasted a lot of my time and hurt my scores. I am nervous about applying I just graduated with a GPA of 3.64 and I was just wondering if I should definitely retake it. Thanks!!

if you look at the ADEA GUIDE TO DENTAL SCHOOLS, you will see that they list TS, AA, and PA. the minimum mean of most schools are 19 across. so you got 18s on both TS and PAT, so that does not look great. your AA is good though. I would retake it if i were you, i mean you might have a very slim chance to get in, depending on where you are applying and your residence

3.64 gpa = WIN
yes avg dat is about 19 so it means there are many ppl below avg as well as below avg
your score is probably within 1 STD of the mean so I think you"ll be competitive
