How common is it for a US Citizen to apply to Dental Schools in other countries for back up in regards to low DAT scores? In addition to this, how hard is it to transfer from a Dental School in another country to one in the US? The dentist I shadowed said his friend applied 3 times and couldnt get into any in the states, so he went to the Phillipines for a year and then transfered to Penn.
