Does anyone know if there are any seminars that you can take to help you better to prepare for the DAT? What material is best to use to prepare for the test?

Yeap, it is called SDN. just go through the DAT threads, you will find so many useful information about what study guide is most recommended by the majority of previous test takers.
From my experience, get the following: 1) KAPLAN study guide ( and if you know someone taking the course, get the online subject tests) ... if you can't find this just pm me and I can hook you up.
I only studied KAPLAN and did I good job on chemistry, organic, reading, quantitative. But I didn't do great on Biology ( 18), and I did really BAD on PAT, So, my advice also buy the 2) destroyer or Acheiver
After finishing both, take a practice exam and see where you are. Oh, also take a diagnotic test to see how much you know now ( who know you might not need to study at all 🙂 )

u can take the kaplan course for the DAT... its a complete waste of time and $$$$ though
