DAT Study Guide:

Total DAT Resources:

• Content Review:
  1. Chad's Videos and Mike’s videos (For Chem and Orgo)
  2. AP Bio Cliff Notes 3rd edition, Feralis Biology Notes, and Russel Biology Notes. (For Bio)

• Practice Problems and Exams:
  1. DAT / Math Destroyer
  2. DAT Bootcamp
  3. Crack DAT
  4. DAT Achiever
  5. DAT QVault

Studying Instructions:

1. For Content Review you should use:

• Bio: AP Bio Cliff Notes 3rd edition—read through this once—and Feralis Biology Notes—know this cold. You may also supplement with Russell’s notes if necessary.
• Chem and Orgo: Chad’s videos. You may supplement Chad’s videos with Mike’s videos if necessary.

2. For Problems you should use:

• Science Section: DAT Science Destroyer and DAT Bootcamp.
• Quantitative reasoning: DAT Math Destroyer and DAT Bootcamp.
• Perceptual ability: Crack DAT PAT and DAT Bootcamp.
• Reading Comprehension: DAT Bootcamp.

3. Next take the official 2007 Practice Test. Grade your exam. Go over all the explanations for the questions, including what you got correct.

• If you scored 1-2 points above your target score on all sections, then proceed to step 5. If not, see next bullet point.
• On the sections that you score 1-2 points higher than your target, you may stop studying.
• On the sections that you score at (or within 1-2 points below) your target you should continue studying using the below sources.
• On the sections that you score below 1-2 points of your target, focus on these sections first, and study extensively for these sections using the below resources.

4. Additional Resources for sections still requiring more practice:

• Crack DAT
• DAT QVault
• DAT Achiever

5. Next take the official 2009 Practice Test. Grade your exam. Go over all the explanations for the questions, including what you got correct.

6. At this point you should be ready.
