So someone has to take DAT first week of June 2010, any idea of how time table will look like? Any suggestion what book (Kaplan review, Destroyer, Top score etc.) to start with and to follow? Just need some basic guideline...if someone has already finished the DAT would be better to guide.

As an idea.... I recently purchased several suggested texts, Cliff's everything, Baarons and the works. I began studying as if taking the classes and going through everything. As for me I have found that I do better focusing. Yesterday at the bookstore I ran into Kaplan's BB and think it is a much better place to start. My plan is to go through Kaplans a couple of times, brush up on the other material. I am going to take as many practice tests as possible to gauge my weak areas and then study them like mad. Then about a month out I am going to start in on Destroyer and Topscore. I will use Crack Dat Pat as soon as I get it ordered up and plan on having fun with it. I really enjoy studying Pat and don't see it being as much of a problem.

Just an idea from someone who is preparing to take the DAT around the same time if the planets align.

N1264d - Good plan !!! If you around my area and if you would like we can be study partner...PM me your location if you interested..OR If you are not in my area and if you would still like to study/discuss DAT...skype works good too.

Sill I would love to see idea from someone who already has finished DAT. Reason: I seem to get great plan after everytime I finished my exam .. I believe It goes true for everyone !!! Exprience always win. (60 years old can give you some golden tip about life then 30 years old)

You have a lot of time.
Kaplan is always a good place to start. The first thing to do is go through the review book. After that you can start taking practice tests as you'd have gained enough background knowledge for that. U can take a month to go through the book. After that just keep practicing. Get Destroyer, Achiever, Topscore, CDP and anything else u can get your hands on.
getting into DS is getting more and more competitive so u need to score well. U can check for these materials in my signature.

I would recommend start doing a basic review of the natural sciences with a kaplan book or your old college textbooks........start practicing the PAT as soon as you can with crack dat pat.......get the destroyers and start those once you feel you have a good grasp on the sciences and i would say get topscore to get used to taking the test on the computer........you have enough time to get yourself ready by then just start it off and make flashcards and keep things constant so you don't have to relearn them. Just keep building it all up Good luck
