I believe I have enough books for the science and math sections of the DAT (Destroyers). However, I want to know which online sites are resourceful and has similar difficulty levels as the DAT. I want to purchase programs that will time me while doing sections, yet not be an overkill.

Seeing threads from critics:
Achiever is great but can kill your confidence
TopScore is handy but too complex in the PAT section
Crack the Pat has some errors in their PAT section which supposedly violates the DAT regulations
QVaults tests are too easy
Kaplan is a waste of money..

Then of course I hear the pros. Can former DAT takers please recommend me programs that have benefitted them and led to a high score on the DAT. Also would love to hear from second time test takers who realized an improvement after using a newer source.

If you already have destroyer, I would recommend clif's 3rd edition for bio (if you need review) and strongly recommend Chad's videos because he teaches tricks that speed you up, and finally Bootcamp. I did use crack PAT in the beginning (the first 5 or so exams) to get my feet wet and learn how to actually do the problems cause bootcamp was too hard initially. Don't be without bootcamp. 🙂

Great thread!

Just curious if anyone has recommendations of what to study AFTER you've already been through Chad's videos and the Dat Destroyer? I'm doing the Kaplan blue book for the biology and PAT review while I finish up the Destroyer currently.

I've thought about the Achiever but it looks like people say it's not entirely necessary if you've already been through the Destroyer? QVault looks like it has a lot of errors from what other threads have said?

I haven't studied much outside destroyer and bootcamp but from what I've read and what I've seen so far Bootcamp is the way to go

Those are most likely going to be my two main sources to avoid an overkill-watch some YouTube tutorials for further bio understanding and read some New York Times/ Scientific American to increase reading comprehension.

First, love seinfeld so great name haha.

Destroyer is the best resource as a whole so its good that you're using it.

As far as online resources, for the PAT I thought Crack the PAT was okay for the PAT. I felt it was a better representation of the test than bootcamp was

Thanks just curious how many times did you go over destroyer and your other sources until you felt comfortable and knowledgeable

Oooo tough question, I had the book on me at all times. If I were to estimate though probably 3 times until I was comfortable. In total I probably went over it 5-6 times....a lot, but it was totally worth it.
