So after classes get out I'm going to take a couple months and study like 8 hrs a day for the DAT. I'm sure it's different for everybody, but which of the following do you think would be better:
  • Studying one subject (ie. bio or gchem) until I have mastered it before moving on to the next one
  • Splitting my day up into chunks and studying each subject a little bit, like say I did bio for an hour and a half, then o-chem for that long, etc.
I can see benefits to both. What do you guys think? Anyone try both and like one better? Any advice would be great. Thanks

I think the first is bad move. You'll forget the stuff you studied first by the time you take the DAT. Why not spend a two days on each subject in the beginning and as you progress in your study move to one day then move to doing multiple subjects a day. I liked doing it this way so the material was always fresh in my mind up until test day.

Don't forget to take practice tests throughout studying.
