DAT studying in four weeks??

Hi,

So finally done with school and finals and graduation business...! I have roughly 4 weeks until my exam (it's on Jun 28th...) and I'm starting to freak out as I browse this part of the forum, which, for some reason, I completely missed before. 🙁

Does anyone have experience having taken the DAT after 4 weeks of preparation? I can't postpone it any later, as I will be going out of the country around one week after. Does anyone also know if I can submit my application before, or does it have to be after the DAT?

Ack. I am currently using:

ExamKrackers MCAT Biology
ExamKrackers MCAT Chemistry
ExamKrackers MCAT Organic Chemistry
Schaum's Outline of Chemistry and Organic Chemistry
DAT Destroyer
Kaplan DAT

I also plan on getting either TopScore or Achiever, as well as Crack DAT PAT.

Does anyone have any suggestions on which books I should look at first? I want to try to maximize my study time so I only do the useful ones, since I only have four weeks left.

Dang 4 weeks, that's quite a climb but it's doable. I would start with KBB (it's a good general outline) and then work towards Destroyer, since the questions are a lot more in depth. Also, I would add Chad's videos into the mix but that's up to you. I find his vids make things very clear and you wouldn't be wasting money or time by subscribing...my two cents. All the best!

I reviewed for my test in 2 weeks. It is doable, but it will take a lot of motivation. I gave the breakdown earlier on what I did. It's in my signature. Build off of what you already know.

Ah I took a look at your breakdown. I'm not sure if I remember too much orgo, and I haven't tried any QR or RC parts yet. @kmcw, did you get all of Chad's videos?

Oh never mind! I just went ahead and purchased Chad's videos. So instead of MCAT EK, would DAT Destroyer + Cliffnotes AP Bio be enough for the sciences? I'm using CDP for the PAT, and not sure yet about RC...!
