To start off I earned a 22 AA 21 TS 22 GC 21 BIO 20 OC 25 RC 24 QR and 19 PAT on the DAT. I applied in August and have interviewed at 4 schools and have 1 acceptance, 2 waitlists and I will hear back from the 4th February 3rd. Like everyone else I saw all the study materials out there but I thought it was crazy how much they cost. I ended up only purchasing a year old Kaplan dat Book for $50 to study from. It may not be the best resource to use but if you have the work ethic and determination to master the material you can succeed. I felt the Kaplan books material and practice tests are harder than the actual dat in every area accept pat so I want recommend supplementing with another source for pat. I really just wanted to share my experience and that you can do great on the dat without spending hundreds on boot camp or other sites. Good luck to everyone taking the dat and applying to dental school!
