ok, this may seem like a nonesense kind of a question, but I can feel my nerves becoming very tense everytime I think about the TEST I will and must take this Sat. I am pretty well prepared for it as I've been studying for the past 5 months and pretty hardcore for the past 6 weeks. For past test takers, has there been anything you've done the day before test day to loosen up anxieties if at all possible? thanks all you future dents!

Nothing

I would just do NOTHING! sit and watch stupid movies, laugh, and relax. Also get a good nights sleep and eat healthy. do not study at all.

I wish you the best of luck. You'll do fine. Don't worry too much...

You really suggest not studying at all? What about reviewing flash cards? I have a DAT coming up very soon as well..

I just read for the last day. I re-read the bio section and organic section. I am kind of weird in that I was feeling anxious because I though I had missed something and the only way to calm my self down was to keep on studying to the last possible moment. I was even studying on the train ride to the testing center, bit that me and might not work for everyone. Most people say to chill the day before and I tried that for about half an hour after I go up the day before the test but before long I was back to the grind.

I went to my grandfather's funeral the day before I took the DAT and needless to say I didn't get any studying in except for a quick review of my chem note cards before going to sleep. As others have stated try to get plenty of sleep, eat a good breakfast, take deep breaths, and remain confident in your abilities and the effort you put into studying for the exam. Best of luck! 👍

i'm taking it next week...i'm pretty scared too...i pray to god 😎 ..hahaha...

honestly, it really just depends on you. i think i bummed around all day and quickly went over some notecards, but i found it made me a little more nervous. i mean you either know it or you don't. i wouldn't do much more than notecards though, really, take a break, you deserve and focus on relaxing before the test day (being stressed won't help at all!).

I know that I am doomed. Nature hasn't been so helpful either. 4 major earthquakes in 6 days ;-)
