-If you have trouble with the PAT then i suggest you getting the Barron's DAT book. This book is only good for the PAT, it has some great tips and tricks on different sections of the PAT and is well worth your $16 bucks. Since your DAT is on Saturday you could also get achiever and do the PAT section on those, Achiever helps you to visualize objects better. As for the organic section, the DAT only test you on the general-nothing too specific or detail as you can image with only 30 questions to cover Ochem 🙂. If you have the Kaplan blue book or white book then that should be plenty for you to ace that section. What you should do is study each reaction carefully, group them into certain categories rather than trying to memorize each one. i.e this reaction falls under carboxyl group and most reactions with carboxyl group reacts the same way, those with ketones, aldehydes, amides etc.. After doing that you should get a feel for the trend in the reaction mechanism and then go back to each reaction and find some scrap paper and rewrite them over and over again until you get it. Go over it about 4-5 times and you should be solid. Hope this helps! gluck with everything 🙂
