How long does it take between when you register online to take the DAT and when you can actually take it? Thanks!

you set the date yourslef, whenever you think u are ready for the exam.

So, it's as soon as you decide? with other tests, it takes 2-3 months, so you have to register 2-3 months ahead. How about DAT? I want to take it on late Oct. but don't know should I apply now or wait until i am really ready for it

yeah u can call prometric and typically setup any date u wsh u are ready to take the exam. I think if u want to cancel u have to notify them 2 days prior to the test day. I started studying for the exam I think august 10 and took the test sept 9, so I think you can choose any day.

fingerstick-- ok prometric needs 48 hour lead time 4 scheduling a test. also, u can apply online and u have up to a year to take the exam. so the earlier you do it , the better, just so u have the prometric stuff and u just need to call when you are done studying!

yeah the dat isnt as hard as one may think. take my advice and take the kaplan course if you have forgotten the materials. my friend recently took the DAT and scored a 24 via kaplan.
