Hey guys, the day has finally come. Can't reschedule anymore and can't do much to learn new things. I took my last top score yesterday with 20AA and 20 AS and I'm satisfied with it. My only concern is the PAT sections: TFE which I pretty much rely on line counting and some visualization and my biggest concern is pattern folding. Any last minute tips on pattern folding that might help me on test day?

I'm now spending my time on sdn looking for things to do 1 day before the DAT. Can't wait to post my breakdown tomorrow!!!!

I think I read it from FROGGBUSTER's breakdown (if I remember correctly), he suggested to do the pattern folding on 2D image, forget the 3D overall shape. As long as you can make sense of what has to neighbor with other piece, you can definitely eliminate to find the correct answer. I personally like to picture the 3D shape in my head, but some of the orientations just gave me a headache. Doing it at 2D image definitely works and I did it this way for a couple of my questions.

For TFE - even though people say avoid line counting, I believe 3 to 4 questions are doable purely relying on line counting - This does not mean I am encouraging you to just count lines for the whole section (Obviously 4/15 is a terrible score) But if you just have a sense of where certain lines have to go and a little bit of line counting, I think it could be good for ~10/15 on TFE section. But I'm only speaking in the behalf of my real PAT section.

If you feel confident enough on other 4 sections, I definitely see you getting a 20 on PAT section. Take a deep breath and just look through a little bit more TFE and Pattern Folding before your d-day. I don't think you can pound anymore information to your brain - just hope that you don't blank out on what you already know.

Good luck!

Thanks so much!!! I've been doing CDP practice problems today and it seems to be working....Will post scores tomorrow!
