So my DAT attempt numero 2 is tomorrow (Saturday the 23rd I had to hang my head in shame and return home because it was cancelled due to the hurricane!) It's my first time taking and I am very nervous! Tomorrow is going to be crazy because I go to class and take a quiz, go to take my DAT, return to school for a class at 5:30, and then have a pre-dental meeting! haha Best of luck to anyone who has still yet to take theirs!

Skip the quiz IMO.
good luck, I am about 99% sure you will rip it up. Still doing 14-16 hours a day? How long have you studied?

Yikes!! To be ready for it and then be told to "go home".. ughh. I'm sorry that happened. Best of luck to you! With a 4.0 GPA, I'm sure you'll do great. :luck:

Don't worry. You'll do fine and it will be easier than all your practice tests! Make sure you bring something to snack on during your break...I got too hungry during the last part of the test and it messed up my QR section. Also, bring some earplugs to wear so that the typing won't bug you. Goodluck!

Thanks guys! You are too kind 🙂 I appreciate all the motivation! I am bringing some teddy grahams to the test center for my snack, haha.

Doc, I started studying in early May but the whole app. process took a lot of my time and I was busy writing a part of my research thesis to turn in by early June. From May - June I read Kaplan course book and took notes on every page in the book, did a lot of the workshops and subject tests online. I also photocopied pages of all my textbooks and made a huge study binder. Then in July I started hardcore memorizing Kaplan, doing Destroyer, and reading and taking notes on Princeton Review Hyperlearning series and ExamKrackers bio. I then went through these bio notes and memorized. I also read most of my gen chem textbook. I made flashcards of the Kaplan orgo reactions and Destroyer roadmaps. I've probably read Cliff's about 3x cover to cover...I did the wake up at 5am and study until around 10pm thing for about 5 weeks...but the last two weeks I had to go back to work and have had school so it has been a few hrs here and there (this weekend I studied a lot though 🙂 ). I feel like I've studied my brains out and still don't feel prepared. I'm going over GreenWave's notes tonight and studying for my microbio quiz tomorrow, haha.

Hopefully you'll get to take it this time. It sounds like you should do good though.
