I just wanted to thank everyone member of the SDN for all the help I've received from reading these boards. I wish I discovered these forums before I started studying instead of the last 3 weeks. I find it encouraging that we are still helping each other out trying to improve everyones score even though, in a way, we are all competing against each other. This is the way things should be! Well I've studied my hardest this summer and whatever I get on the DAT, I'll know I put my heart into studying. Thanks to all you for all the help! - Alex

Make sure you dont get tripped up by tricks and silly mistakes, this is not a hard test but its awfully easy to forget a number or solve for the wrong thing. Good luck, and try to sleep tonight

Yea I looked at some math today for like 2 hours in the morning and have been doing nothing all day. Amazing feeling!

Yes, I agree, this test is about making stupid mistakes, which I will try my hardest not to do. The only part I am really nervous for is the QR section because I don't have a great math foundation. All the other parts of the test I feel like I'm going to own. Either way, bring it on!

The time has come...i take my test tomorrow too. I went to go visit my testing center today, and found out it was sort of hospitable. Anyways, i wish all of you guys luck. Does anyone else feel like their on the verge of forgetting a lot of information?

Not I. I feel hyped and ready! I tried studying today but my body wouldn't let me! You gotta stay calm and cool. One of the DAT's weapons is it's fear factor which can make any smart person make careless mistakes and second guess their abilities.

On that note, what do you guys think the best DAT snack is, lol?
The test center also requires 2 forms of id. I only have my license as photo id, will a social security card count as a 2nd valid form of id?

Careful there, I dont think SS card counts. When I was waiting to be seated for DAT a week ago, there was this girl who tried to use social security card as her second ID, and the personnel in the testing center told her that it was not acceptable. She got pretty pissed off and then had to go back to get another form of ID.

Your center could be different, but just be careful about it.

I think you can try passport if you have one. They actually also accepted my ATM card with picture as an form of ID... which was pretty odd.
