On PAT, dont get caught up spending too much time for each question.
Some of those questions can have you thinking about the answer for 3 minutes without coming to a definitive answer. It is easy to tell which ones can create some problems for you. When that is the case, rule out the ones you know are not correct (At the least, you can eliminate one answer choice within 15-20 seconds), and then just make your best guess and move on. Then, at the end of the section, if you have time, go back and check out the ones you made educated guesses on.
My overall point is to not dwell on any single question for too long. "Mark" it and go back later. Just make sure you get to answer all the questions that you know, and time permitting at the end of the section, go back and spend time on the difficult ones.
