Hi,

I am thinking about going to dent school and had a few q's

How many times is the DAT offered per year? What months and how fast do u get ur results?
Also, how is each section scored?

The test is computerized, so its offered virtually every day of the year. The exam is scored instantly and you get your scores about a 30 seconds after completing the test. The exam is scored on a curve, with your raw score being converted to a curved score out of 30 for each section.

the sections are averaged to give you an overall Academic Average and Total Science average. AA is reading, math, and bio,chem,orgo. TS is just bio/chem/orgo. national average is around an 18, but you want to shoot for 20+ on all sections. a good score would be AA and TS of 20+
