Similar to the last cycle, I'm providing some graphs and resources that current applicants can reference.
Distribution of number of applicants with minimum 1 acceptance (Data from AAMC Courtesy of Fencer, Most Accurate Information)
Interview Invite Distribution and Application Tracking
You can track your cycle and contribute your data using CycleTrack. This is a new initiative created by MD-PhD students for crowdsourcing and aggregating information about admissions. You can see admissions actions at various schools here. Below is data on the distribution of interview invites across the application cycle.
Distribution of interviews and acceptances by month (Data from SDN Interviews/Acceptances Threads)
Number of interview vs. acceptances (Data from SDN Interviews/Acceptances Threads)
This graph does a good job illustrating why trusting only data from SDN is flawed. The likelihood of stats shown in the bottom right quadrant is very low and is better explained by people not posting all of their acceptances.
Call:
lm(formula = acceptances ~ interviews, data = .)
Residuals:
Min 1Q Median 3Q Max
-3.5193 -0.8821 -0.1550 0.5722 5.2539
Coefficients:
Estimate Std. Error t value Pr(>|t|)

Signif. codes: 0 ‘***’ 0.001 ‘**’ 0.01 ‘*’ 0.05 ‘.’ 0.1 ‘ ’ 1
Residual standard error: 1.532 on 162 degrees of freedom
Multiple R-squared: 0.5009, Adjusted R-squared: 0.4978
F-statistic: 162.6 on 1 and 162 DF, p-value: < 2.2e-16
