hey now said:From what I understand, the public transportation system in Philly is pretty good. If I were to take the R5 (from Thorndale/Paoli) in to the "North Broad" station, would I be anywhere close to Temple's Dental School? Is there a better way coming in on the R5 (maybe to Suburban Station, walk to City Hall, then Broad Street Line up)? Is this practical before 9 AM on a weekday?
Hopefully this information will benefit other interviewees as well... 🙄
Nope it's not practical, and I'll tell you why. The public transportation system in philly is on strike. Trust me I was just there last week. It really sucked that the strike started right before I got there. You're going to have to take a taxi. Be sure that you get the taxi early, because with the subways and buses not running the streets are freakin packed. Not that bad though I mean it's really no worse than San Fran at rush hour.
