datqvault.. cant score more than 20 for Bio

ive been pracdtiving with datqvault and i see some terms that i didnt even know while i was reading cliffs or kaplan

my average score for datqvault i did was about 17

how should i prepare more for this section?
any tips or advices will be greatly appreciated..

Yeah I am on the sam boat.
I read KBB more than three times and Cliff mutiple times and on bio I got 19/20/19 for the first three tests. My test is on Friday and I am worried 🙁

it seems like most people tend to get at least 2 points higher than their qvault score if that makes u feel any better? ive only been getting 18 18 19 so far on the first three... are u guys using qvault for anything besides bio?

yeah, I paid 100 for all other sections.
It seems like Chem and Ochem questions are very repetitive. And there are some errors on explanations. I heard good stuffs about Qvault, but not too sure about chem sections.

def some errors and caught some repetition...also some similar questions within the same test often... i just really hope the chem/ochem difficulty can match the actual DAT and isnt too easy

I read you took Romano's class too. I am getting this feeling that we are just better off reviewing the notes. Since it has all the "DAT Questions" that we can do while reviewing. I found this really helpful.

I took past DAT(not sure) tests from 1980's and 90's and found some of the questions that he told us during his lecture. So I am thinking about reading his notes one more time. (I read each Chem.Orgo note like more than three times.)

yea ive went thru the notes about 4 times...and today and possibly tomorrow if i dont finish will be my 5th time going fully thru the GC and OC notes...theyre really good to know but there was stuff in Destroyer that wasnt in the notes and there was stuff in the notes that wasnt in Destroyer ....also there was stuff I wasnt exposed to on Qvault or the format of the question or reagents was different so it threwme off so im glad i got exposure to questions that look a little different.....i hope theyre more like Destroyer or his notes format though because i went through both numerous times lol...the GC problems in his notes and Destroyer seem a lot more complex and time consuming compared to the ones on Qvault so I hope the real DAT's are more like Qvaults

u still scheduled for june 1st? and u take anymore qvaults that u can update on the thread?

When did you guys take the class? I just took the class in spring and taking the test in 30th.. too late for me to postpone it lmao

i was in the fall group..he says to try to take it sooner after the class bc the "direct hits" but i was too strapped for time and slacked off a bit bc i knew i had until may for app cycle to begin lol...and now look at me...delayed past my original date and set for june 8 and maybe even changing it to june 12 now lol :/ .....u think taking it after his class is a big help bc the direct hits?

Well I'll find that out this Wednesday - it's too late for me to postpone as I said! lol

Our class ended on the 16th, and I'm positive I'm the first one, or at least one of the early people to take the test. I knew I'd slack off if I had time and his notes are pretty fresh in my mind so I don't regret taking it early.
