Everyone on here has been great! I just want to thank everyone here for being helpful and making me think and rethink about questions people post. I am not happy with the scores I got because I want at least an AA of 22, but it will take some time to realize that my scores are okay.

Breakdown:
I have been studing since the second week of May, on and off. I am a procrastinator and pretty much was dreading taking the DAT. I was tired of pushing my exam back and the studying shouldn't have taken 3 months but I finally owned up and took the beast. About 3 weeks before the exam I studied about 10-14 hours a day. I studied anything and everything I can get my hands on. Days leading up to the exam I was nervous and couldn't remember anything. I was scared out of my mind, but I just tried to studying still. The day before the exam I walked around the block a few times to clear my head before bed. The day of the exam, I just tried to mentally prepare myself and build my confidence (I think confidence is really important when taking an exam).
After the exam I felt tired and drain because I had some fruit before the exam and try to get some vitamins and minerals in my system so I can function. During the break I did what CANgenome did and wrote down equations, conversions, trig tables and left with about 10 min left in the break. Literally I had 3 grapes and a sip of water and used the bathroom before entering back. After the exam, I did not remember what types of questions were on the exam clearly. I was in the zone when I was taking it.
Bio: Cliff's, Destroyer.
This section was random. I read Cliff's about 6x front to back and only seen about 4 or 5 questions related to the book. I did destroyer twice and seen some questions almost verbatim on the exam. I do not know how I got a 20 on this section but I am excited. I was hoping for at least an 18.
GChem: Chad's Vids, Destroyer
Destroyer and Chad makes a great combo. The questions were not as hard as destroyer. I did not have too many concept or problem based questions. I had some lab questions that I wasn't not too sure about. This section was random but doable.
Ochem: Chad's Vids, Destroyer, Old notes from school.
Again, great combo. The questions were really basic. Not too too difficult but no SN1/SN2 and E1/E@ cold. Know which reactions act in SN or E.
QR: DAT destroyer, MATH destroyer.
DAT destroyer was a good warm up to the MATH destroyer. I would go into math destroyer and learn how to do every problem. The questions were easier but same style questions as MATH destroyer.
RC: Topscore, Acheiver
This was my hardest section. During this section I was using a combination of reading the passage and S&D. I was panicking between the two methods and overall just failed...I do not know what I did, I thought I had failed it and a retake of the DAT was in my future. My passages were herbal meds, fractures, I forgot the other one.
PAT: CDP
I was averaging 22 on CDP. I am stoked that I got a 27.
Keyholes were a bit more confusing than CDP.
TFE was a little harder but doable.
Angle ranking was easier than CDP, but there are always questions that had angles that are so close together.
Hole punching: It was more difficult than CDP but managable.
Cube: Easy easier than CDP. I had the phantom cube but after staring at the screen for about 30 sec I leaned back and seen the structure.
Pattern folding: Way harder than CDP. Not as clear as CDP
Top score: I do not have the scores with me, but I remember averaging around 18 in all sections for all 3. This is a good indication of what to expect on the exam.
Achiever: Again, no scores but averaged around 15-16 in all sections. This is a waste of money, but it did help me study harder.
(IMO I would study through out the week and take an exam every weekend to see what areas are still week and needed to be focused on.)
I ordered the 2009 ADA sample test but never received it. I was pissed, I ordered it 2 weeks ago and never received it. I thought it was suppose to take a week but I don't know what happened there.
I worried about my QR and RC, they are average but I don't want to take the test over again due to these low scores. I am a double major in Human Bio and Biomedical Lab Diagnostics. My gpa is 3.7 and my sGPA is 3.61, bcp is 3.51. I applied to 14 schools and just want to get in anywhere.
This is getting too long, so one last thing for all of those studying out there. This test doable and over not as difficult as I thought. My mistake is being scared and afraid. This test is great and all but just find what you need here and study hard and find some relaxation once in a while.
