Davis Secondary

I have been wondering why I have not received mine yet. I am pretty sure my scores are good enough, and before I called them I wanted to ask you. I checked my status on their page, and it said they received my AMCAS on July 16th, which in itself is wierd, because my application was not verified till August... (maybe they get a copy before its verified).

i dunno whats wrong with davis. i've received secondaries from EVERY uc (including sf) but davis. i was verified july 15 and called them for the second time today and the woman said my application is in the screening process now... which doesn't mean much. so basically calling them wont solve or speed up anything. i think their secondary screening process is just weird and random.

I'm in the same boat, and it sucks! I have heard back from every school but Davis. What gives???

pisces, ditto here.... they got my amcas on july 15th as well and i have received all of the other uc's secondaries and i called the admissions office yesterday and got the same response. i can't help but question how fair the system is when people i know whose amcas data was received by davis in august have already received the secondary and sent it in but i haven't got any word at all... kind of beats the point of getting the stuff in early - why bother if it makes no difference?

davis is known to select a diverse group of students for secondaries/interviews. don't be surprised even if you have the numbers not to get something from them. numbers are a great indicator to see if you will get things from other UCs, Davis...not as much. plus they can get slow like other UCs. I don't think you have to worry too much about it. and if you got something from all the other UCs, unlike me last year...I'd still be pretty damn happy.

i just got their secondary today. I got verified early august and received secondaries from uci, ucsd, ucla already but not ucsf. So their's definitely hope for you all. Good luck
