DDS degree overseas?

Can you practice Dentistry overseas with an American DDS degree or is it like Internationals coming to the US where they have to repeat portions of D-school?


A friend of mine is an MD who went to China and said he had no problems practicing medicine and was basically allowed to jump into practice right away..

I'm sure if you showed up at some remote village in Ghana and set up shop, not too many people would be upset. I would imagine that the rules vary from country to country.
