My science grades:

CALC 1 : C
Bio 1: NC( first semester freshman)
Bio 2: W the first time
F the second
Chem 1: B-Lec
A-in lab
Chem 2: B+-Lec
B-in lab
PSYCH stats: B-
PSYCH 101: B+

Do I have any chance of getting into NYU dental if I retake bio for a third time?

You will have to explain the W and F if you ever get in. If you have straight As in the other semesters, I don't see a reason why you won't be accepted. And of course, you would have to kill the DAT to increase your chances.

Does that make your GPA 2.5ish? If its your first year, I would take bio but realize that you really need a strong, upwards trend.

You need to pass both bio 1 and 2. I don't know what an NC is, but you should have legitimate credit because AP/IB/CLEP are not acceptable. On top of that, you still have organic chemistry, physics, possibly biostatistics, and the DAT.

I am at NYU and I had my share of Cs with at least one D and an F. If you do well elsewhere, yea sure an interviewer might ask but probably not if you get to that point and do well after that.

did you apply after your junior year of undergrad? I screwed up my freshman year too with 2 C's in both Chem 1/2 and a D in Calc 1. I have since then got A's in Ochem 1/Ochem 2, Bio1/Bio2, Physics 2, Statistics 1 and Statistics 2, as well as ecology, evolution, medical terminology, and a bunch of other Gen eds and non sciences. I only received 1 B my sophomore year in Physics, because i was so scared after my freshman year....

Yea, I applied at the end of my senior year after I got published. I literally had only one semester in undergrad in which I had straight As. The rest are a mix of A, B, C... kind of like how I've been doing here haha.
