Hi....
I'm new to this forum and wanted your advice about making my mind what to start with...??!!
I'm a dentist from India,Now i'm settled in US so i did attempt my NDB in dec and scored a meagre 78%,so i attempted this july again and it was very tough for me and i barely have any hopes,so what my confusion is i don't want to waste time,I was wondering if joining Advanced programme is a good idea since not all subjects require to pass NDB...but will doing the advanced programme help me out ?? in working as a dentist??
kindly advice!!!....I'm very confused and feel devastated!😕 😕

First and foremost you have to make up your mind what state you wanna practise in..why? Because some states will accept only a DDS, others will accept an advanced education degree as a basis for licensure.But...it's not easy getting into either, especially the advanced education programs.

There's so much competition and having a foreign degree means you will have to be really distinguished so that the schools will consider you.

Did you read the ADA brochure called "Dentistry in the USA; information on licensure"?..if not you should!

By the way try posting on the international dental forum that's more relevant to your line of thinking.
