just make sure you really love research. It's a great program if you do.

One of my classmates is now on his 9th year here. He was the first and probably the last DMD/PhD student.

It's a long road. opportunity cost of not practicing. but no student loans!

Not all programs have full-ride offers. Only the select few have them.
