Anyone here take a biology class 3 times. I kinda have a dilemma here. I took bio 2 the first time and got an W. the second time I took it I got an F. I know it looks bad if I take it a 3rd time but if I do and somehow get a B or an A, do I have a chance at getting into dental schools such as NYU or Touro?

To be honest since you're taking it a 3rd time I think its A or bust for you. And for your 2nd question, it depends on the rest of your application (overall GPA, science GPA, DAT, extracurriculars).

You're asking the wrong questions. You need to figure out how to succeed in intro bio if you want to have any chance at doing well in upper level courses. You're building a foundation for dental school courses. This is important stuff. You need to not only do well, but more importantly: understand the content in your classes. Earning a W and then an F in introductory biology does look very bad, yes. It's not impossible for you to get into dental school, but you need to make some serious changes.

Be honest with yourself and figure out the problem. Are you cutting class? Are you studying every day? Using office hours? Have you hired a tutor?
