Is anyone interested in a DDSapplicants.com website (kind of like mdapplicants.com)? I'm thinking of buying the domain name and starting it up. Hopefully, I'll be working in conjunction with SDN in the near future but that all depends on whether or not there is a great demand for it (and whether or not I can support it financially).

I think it will be a very valuable tool for future applicants.

try to check this out... it helps a lot in locating scools in your place... say for example in texas:Texas Schools it also has map to give you he right location of the school... hoe this help

You should definitely do it. I can help you out. I'm a pre-dental/comp sci major and I've done lots of websites. You can add many features on DDSApplicants that aren't on this website.
 
i think dmd applicants would be more suitable, more schools are switching to the dmd degree, something to do with the similarity to md's, i don't know for sure

applicants get stupider every year, and the more applicants i meet/talk to, the more this truth is validated.

we used to figure out how to apply and go through the process just fine... but now people need help?? What's next? A full application service with Jeeves that comes by your house and punches your info into aadsas.org??

by all means go for it, domain registration cost next to nothing, but beware that the more dumb-the-process-down resources out there, the more likely that incompetents will start filtering into school. And who wants that?

hmm...what are we doing on sdn asking questions then? Maybe we should not be on here...we are dumbing down the dental schools apparently.
 
i've been hoping someone would do this, so i definitely say go for it.
 
That would be a wonderful tool. I know when I applied to dental school, I had NO idea on what to do for anything. It seemed that people didn't know anything about dentistry and applying to dental school. It'll be a great tool. 😀
