deadline question on AADSAS app turned in but DAT not available yet

I'm looking at schools with a deadline of 1/1/04. I have my DAT scheduled for first week of Jan. My AADSAS app is turned in. Does that mean that I wont make the 1/1/04 deadline for those schools since AADSAS app just sits there until it receives DAt scores doesnt it?

Call the schools and find out! They will know better than anyone on this board.

What Jaap said is true. For some schools, they want the applicants to sign a form indicated that you will take DAT no latter than X/X. For example, UCSF or UCLA. So, call the schools you are interested and find out.
Definitely, turn in you AADSAS application ASAP. For me, it takes 4 weeks to reach every school.
