As many of you are aware, several schools require a Dean's letter of recommendation (atleast half the schools in CAAPID) and a few others prefer from the Dean. I graduated from India several years ago. I joined my wife here a few years ago. My school did not have a Dean only a Principal, but he left around 4 years ago and the new Principal does not know me (I graduated before he joined).
My ask: Can any of the seniors here in this alias help claify. Is it OK to apply without a Dean's letter. I could include an explanation as to why I do not have a Dean's letter but will schools consider it incomplete? any advice would be greatly appreciated!
