when you were asked "why NYCOM" during your interviews,
what were some of your responses?
I like the school b/c of their hospital affiliations, positive feedback from students, and b/c it's close to my family/support system.
what responses seemed to satisfy/impress your interviewer?

Hi DOapplicant,
I was never asked "Why NYCOM?" during my interview. I wrote in my secondary that I wanted to attend because of hospital affiliations and location (close to my family and to NYC).

I wrote that I wanted to go there because of the affiliated hospitals, the focus on OMM, i have family near by, their computer technology(they give everyone a Sony PDA). I didn't say the PDA part though. That is basically what I said. They don't give you much room. Only a small paragraph, it was really short. I prepared something ahead of time to write when I got there.
