Dear RIC,

My bf is a long time fan of your program. If there was a RIC fan club, he would be president. Not a day goes by that he does not talk about being a resident at RIC. I concede to the fact that RIC is his first love and SDN is his obsession. You win. I accept defeat. I will compete with Facebook now. However, I have one wish-- for the sake of my sanity, could you please release your rank order list to applicants so that he may rejoice (and/or cry) and perhaps, stop talking about RIC and residency for one day?

Unfortunately, the process is out of RIC's hands now too. In an age when computers can process millions of equations in the span of simple second, I fail to see why it takes 3 weeks to get the results back. At this very moment, some computer somewhere deep inside NRMP headquaters knows the exact future of thousands of match applicants. It probably knew 24 hours after the deadline.

March 15th is similar to the night your snooped around your parent's closet and found wrapped presents and March 18th is the new Christmas. The excitement leading up to both days is half the fun!

Thank you! I'm lucky to have such a wonderful and understanding significant other who continues to put up with my craziness. Don't worry, residency only lasts 4 years! 🙄

HAHAHA BRO! That's hilarious! For some reason, I didn't think to ask you. I have to be honest, I read this and thought it was MY girlfriend! But through a series of assumptions and the time stamp, I figured it had to be from the west coast, so not from my camp. It did take almost 12hrs for her to get back to me when I sent the text asking her about it though...
