I have an interview Wednesday for a job at Feinstein Institute (North Shore-LIJ's Research Center), but I believe the position is per diem. I'm not entirely sure yet, and I'll find out then. Another opening came up with Antech Diagnostics as a lab tech in the hematology department. Antech is a vet/animal testing lab. http://www.antechdiagnostics.com/main/aboutantech.aspx

Obviously, Feinstein is a more prestigious location, but Antech will offer me around 14/ hour at 30 hours per week. If the Feinstein offering is per diem, should I accept the animal lab tech one? What are your thoughts SDN?

It's all about the money man, you'll know what I mean when you start interviewing.

Disagree. Money is important to get through the interview stuff, but I was really glad i had a job that gave me insight into the field, helped me kill the interviews

I'm liking the money too, but one is a lab tech in a testing lab, the other in a research lab. Research= good, no?
