So I wanted to apply early this upcoming cycle, but wasn't sure If I should.

If I were to apply in June, I would be missing Ochem lab, biochemistry, anatomy and physiology. I also am planning on taking the DAT in July.

Would it be a good idea to go ahead and apply anyways?

Strange enough, I actually was in the same exact position as you last cycle. Literally. I just completed Biochemistry in the Fall and am finishing Ochem Lab currently this Spring. Anatomy/Phys isn't a requirement for all schools, so I don't plan on taking that. I also took the DAT the first week of July, so as long as you feel you can get a decent score on the DAT, then I would go ahead and apply in June. Personally, I applied in June to one school just to get my application process/gpa verification started then waited to take my DAT before adding additional schools so I could realistically narrow down my options based on my DAT score. Hope that makes sense.
PS: A lot depends on your current stats as well. I'm assuming your GPA/extra-curriculars are on par with most schools if you are planning to apply.

I think it is doable. Go over a practice test and feel it out.

I applied in july last cycle and took dat at the end of july. I did not have orgo2, biochem and english requirement completed. I still applied and took orgo2 and english course in last fall semester and currently taking biochem this semester. I got accepted to three schools in december and waitlisted at one. You dont have to have your prerequisites completed at the time of applying. The dental schools I have been accepted to simply told me to finish preprequisites before this May. So you are totally fine. Go ahead and apply.
