I know I'm not the only one worrying about the amount of debt I'll graduate with (I'm looking forward to ~$400K in debt, woohoo!). I'm just curious about how much debt you guys have or anticipate to have, so hopefully I can put this issue into more perspective.

Thanks!

Its good that your worried because this debt is a serious commitment. I just wonder what will be the state of Dentistry when the majority of new Docs are debt strapped. I don't have a good feeling about the future of this profession.

BU 2015 woohoo!
Same boat debt wise, it's not easy but graduates from private schools all across the US make it happen.

OMG 400k? How will you have such a high debt? Is this including undergrad? Do you have any unusual expenses?

No loans from undergrad...its the priveledge of going to one of the top expensive dental schools in the nation in one of the most expensive areas in the nation.

nyu??

some people going to school use the money for cars... expensive toys.. 🙂

I'm starting at Loma Linda SOD in August, just got my financial aid finalized for the year, I am getting ~$85,000- $12,000 of which is for living expenses, so I will not be buying expensive toys, I will be eating top ramen and living in a "van down by the river" then graduating with more than $300,000 in debt. F my life haha
