I start med school this august. I originally did not think I would be going back to school, so I put furniture, an engagement ring and honeymoon, as well as inheriting some debt from a family member, thinking I would be able to pay it off without a problem over the next couple of years. I have about $15,000 in debt that I need to eliminate quickly or at least defer until residency. Has anyone been in this situation or do you have any suggestions on what to do?
