Next round of letters come out starting Jan 15th. No point waiting for the mail. Cuz it no one'll be getting anything till Jan 15th.

That also means that those interviewing early Jan will have the same chances of getting in as those who interviewed Dec 1st.

My understanding (although i definitely may be wrong) was that they'll still go down then line chronologically once they determine how many offers they want to send out. Your way does seem to make more sense though.

I had originally expected to receive notification Jan 15th, except that at my Dec 8th interview Dr. Davis told us our apps would be reviewed the following friday and letters mailed after the weekend. Maybe he was mistaken? Sigh...

Doc Davis doesn't do admissions (from what he implied). Doc McManus (heretofore will be known as, The Man) does admissions. The Man said to not expect anything til that date.

That's what he said to my group too, I'm just not sure if each date is considered with equal preference, even though we'll be notified on the same day.
