Dec/Jan Residencies?

Just wondering if its common for residency programs to have spots available in December or Jan? I wanna go into Family Medicine....but I'm not quite ready to start in the July cause i'm burnt out!

Common? No, but it does happen - you'll have to look at FREIDA or contact programs you are interested in to see if they offer off-cycle starts.

there are some programs in FREIDA that I have seen with starting dates in june, july and january. this is for IM.

Few, but they are out there.
