Hi everyone! Since I have greatly benefited from watching and reading each person's naplex experience in this forum, I'd like to share my experience as well.

This is my first attempt (12/8 is when I took the naplex) and I am glad to say that I passed!

I started studying in October, every weekend while working 32 hours in a week. I did 5 hours of studying each day that I am not working and went through the whole RxPrep twice.
I grouped the diseases by systems. For example Heart Diseases (CHD, Heart Failure, Hypertension, etc.), Neuro Diseases (Schizophrenia, Depression, Bipolar Disease, etc), Infections (HIV, ID), and so on. I suggest you do the same 😉
The week before my exam, I studies 8-10 hrs in a day and waited til 3 days before exam date to do my 2nd round of BioStat calculations, Pharmacokinetic calculations, and Pharmaceutical Calculations.

Materials I used were the 2016 RXPrep book, RxPrep test bank , quizlet and my pharmacy school notes and books.

My exam consist a lot of biostat about 20 questions, about 25 calculation questions and about 10 compounding questions. I did get a lot of chemo, hiv, and id questions.

I believe that if you study RxPrep book by heart, you will succeed in the naplex. Hope this helps and Good luck to all future test takers!

Congratulations! Good review. I also passed my exams last week. I have pass naplex Course Book Volume I & 2 and Rxprep for sale IM me if anyone interested.

I just took the exam today. This was my second attempt, last time was with the shorter 4 hour version. I have major test anxiety and get distracted easily. If I had to compare the two, this one was more... fair? Mind you, I don't know how the results will pan out and I can't say with confidence that I did well or not (I'm merely a below average to average student). I scored in the 60's the first time around and I'll be going crazy until the results come out. I finished with 15 min left to spare.

My exam consisted of a ton of calculations. Majority of the exam (85%-90%) was case presentation style (SOAP). Please don't skip your HIV!!!!!!!! I also had bio stats, many DDI (most were select all that apply), compounding. Know what causes the specific disease states (environmental, genetics, etc) and secondary drug of choice for treatment (along will first DOC of course)!!! I read the question before looking through the case. Don't skip over the allergies! I think it's also very helpful to know the basic normal lab values so you can quickly rule out certain things. Know the general formulas as well!! You don't want to miss easy questions.

Happy holidays everyone!! Wish me luck!

I had both passnaplexnow (questions, videos, everything) and rxprep (just the book). I scored about 70s with passnaplexnow quizzes. To be honest, there were some information conflict between the two, and with that I either just went with rxprep or looked the information up. I only went through passnaplexnow once, but rxprep twice. I think the compounding section in rxprep isn't quite sufficient enough but that's just my opinion. I also went through SDN 120 questions twice which was harder than what was on my exam but I'm glad I went through it anyhow.
