Hi everyone! Since I have greatly benefited from watching and reading each person's naplex experience in this forum, I'd like to share my experience as well.
This is my first attempt (12/8 is when I took the naplex) and I am glad to say that I passed!
I started studying in October, every weekend while working 32 hours in a week. I did 5 hours of studying each day that I am not working and went through the whole RxPrep twice.
I grouped the diseases by systems. For example Heart Diseases (CHD, Heart Failure, Hypertension, etc.), Neuro Diseases (Schizophrenia, Depression, Bipolar Disease, etc), Infections (HIV, ID), and so on. I suggest you do the same 😉
The week before my exam, I studies 8-10 hrs in a day and waited til 3 days before exam date to do my 2nd round of BioStat calculations, Pharmacokinetic calculations, and Pharmaceutical Calculations.
Materials I used were the 2016 RXPrep book, RxPrep test bank , quizlet and my pharmacy school notes and books.
My exam consist a lot of biostat about 20 questions, about 25 calculation questions and about 10 compounding questions. I did get a lot of chemo, hiv, and id questions.
I believe that if you study RxPrep book by heart, you will succeed in the naplex. Hope this helps and Good luck to all future test takers!
