Are all schools notifying December 3 or are some schools notifying on December 1?
I have had interviews at UAB, Louisville, UNC, and UK. From what I understand UAB will notify me by phone Dec 3 and UK by email on Dec 3, but I am not sure about UNC or Louisville. Does anyone know?

Midwestern will do Dec 1 by phone and Email on Dec 3rd

I'm pretty sure noone can send out anything until Dec 3rd this year, its normally Dec 1st but they agreed to make it Dec 3rd this year due to the 1st being a Saturday.

At Roseman the dean said they are allowed to start making calls on the 1st and depending on his schedule, he might go in on that Saturday to start making a few of those calls. Otherwise, December 3rd.

ADEA has sent emails to all deans and directors of admissions (including deans of schools) expressly reminding us that there are guidelines to notifying all applicants, including agreed-upon dates for notification of offers of admission. We also were reminded that no communications regarding offers should be made in ANY form before December 3, 2012 (the agreed upon date as December 1 falls on a Saturday). Notifications are allowed after 12:01 am Eastern Time.

For schools that send out email notification, is it Dec. 3 EST? Or does time zone depend on the school and not the ADEA?

If I interviewed at a school and they told me they'd let me know if I'm accepted on December 1st, does this mean they are being smart donkeys and essentially telling me that I am not going to be accepted, since they aren't allowed to accept yet on that day?

Or were they simply mistaking? It was actually on a document they gave me too.

I'm sure it's just because for the past 5 years or so it's been dec 1 and they keep forgetting
