I need some deciding on an SMP.

These are the school.

- Case Western Reserve University MS in Medical Physiology
- Even though they are one of the newer program, they seem to have a good record.
- Also, there are ton of hospitals and experiences around the campus\
- Bad thing is, its in cleveland.... (I attended undergrad here)

- BU MAMS
- It has a good track record
- Its in Boston.

I got wait listed from Tufts, which was my first choice.
- I think there are too much uncertainty, so I think Tufts isn't a choice anymore.

EDIT: here are my information.
cGPA: 3.25
sGPA: 3.29
MCAT: 512
Research Experience: 2~3 years.
Volunteer: 150 hours.
Shadowing: 70 hours.
Work: work study for 3.5 years (20hours/week).

Do you guys have any recommendations for me?

For me, cost would be a big factor, so if this was my decision I would stay with Cleveland, as the cost of living in Boston is relatively high.

Are you accepted into both these programs?

Yes, I am accepted into both programs. I just realized that the cost for Case is higher than both of these schools.

I'm assuming that's tuition? Still, I think living expenses would be significantly lower in CLE than it would be in BOS. But I'm biased because cost is a huge factor for me.

If cost isn't a factor, I would go to Boston because the city is amazing and the SMP program there seems highly recognized.

Cost should be a factor, but not nearly as big of a factor as the track record of the program getting students into medical school. I would go with BU, but it is going to be really difficult for people to help you without knowing some more background info (mcat, gpa, etc.). Also, is the CWR program a true SMP? I know that the BU program has medical school classes, but I'm not sure about Case's program.

Okay. I will list my info on the original post. Thanks.

I'm looking at some SMP's right now. Just wondering, how are you planning on financing the program??

I am planning to take loans for it. If I do get into medical school and become a doctor, it will all pay out in the end.
