  1. Pre-Dental
I am currently in a masters program in education. I am fairly close to finishing. However, I am applying to dental school and taking the DAT this coming April. I have been wrestling with the idea of finishing up my pre-reqs this coming spring semester and summer, instead of continuing with my masters program. The only classes I have left are Orgo 2, Biochem and Physics 1/2. My GPA in undergrad was 3.4, science GPA was 3.8. In my masters program my GPA is a 3.55. My question is what do you think is a better choice, take Orgo 2 and Biochem this spring and take the DAT in April vs. Continue on with my masters (Student Teaching is this coming spring) and take DAT in April or Take semester off, study for DAT and take it in April. I am leaning towards getting pre-reqs done this spring and taking the DAT in April. Thanks for all your help.

Take Orgo 2 and Biochem this spring and take the DAT in June. Depending on when your classes end for the spring, I don't think April would give you very much time to study. I would shoot for June and apply then as well.

Is taking the DAT in June going to be late in comparison to other applicants?
