Hey guys...sorry to make another decision help thread but I'm having a hard time choosing PCO or Nova. I'm from NJ, so PCO is much closer to home, however, south Florida would be a nice change of pace for me. I'm torn because from what I've seen/heard/read, it seems like PCO might have a "better" program, but that seems to be due to its reputation for the most part. From what I've read Nova has a very good program now as well. I know the standout differences are with the externships for 1.5 years at PCO and the taking classes with other professions at Nova, either of which I wouldn't mind. I'm worried if PCOs program might be a lot harder since it is more material squeezed into a shorter time period? Although I do like the more clinical atmosphere at PCO. On the other hand, I think there are great opportunities at Nova to learn a more broad outlook of some of the early sciences due to the interdisciplinary learning...I don't know!!! lol Does anyone have any opinions for me? Any help would be greatly appreciated...

There are a million threads of this exact topic. And it has been said over and over again. Nobody but you can make that choice. You have seen the schools, you have heard opinions, weigh your pros and cons. I wouldn't make any decisions based on what you read on this forum anyway. (no offense!) 🙂

Thanks for the reply, I know theres somethings that I shouldn't rely on and that I need to make the decision. It's hard and when you have a tough decision you look for advice from others lol

Haha, I know. Well you can see my choice 🙂 Although NOVA's weather would be nice right now!

Not sure how much of a change of pace it will be. South Florida is VERY urban, and VERY crowded. The weather may be nice, but the people aren't nice and the traffic is awful. If you end up going to Nova, try to find an apartment as close to the university as you can, or go to areas south of the school. North of the school is nicer and more expensive, but a 5 or 6 miles north away from the school can take 20-45 minutes to get home/to school.
