I have been accepted into Walsh University and I am still waiting to hear back from Dayton after my Dec. 16th interview and have not heard anything from University of Cincinnati (they don't offer interviews). My deposit is due to Walsh on Jan. 10, but I'm afraid to commit to a school without hearing from the other two! I loved Walsh's program, but don't think I could live in a small town like Canton for three years! Also, the price of Cincinnati is MUCH more affordable, as it is a state school. Is prestige of a program going to matter when I'm applying for jobs, or should I go for a school that is going to put me in the least amount of debt! HELP ME!!!!

I would just put my deposit in and wait for the other two schools' results. I know it's a lot of money, but it's still a tiny fraction of the amount you'll most likely be paying for PT school in the end. It would guarantee you a spot in a PT program. Wouldn't you be bummed if you didn't make a deposit, and then didn't get into either of the remaining two schools? You should hedge your bets to ensure you are happily attending school for your career of choice several months from now, in my opinion.

Put the deposit in! I am in the exact same boat-- I have been accepted to a school in a location I would much rather not live in (it's in Cali and I live in Georgia... Moving would be a nightmare) The deposit is due next week. I had an interview with my top choice school a few weeks ago and still have to hear back from 3 more. I would much rather go somewhere I don't wanna go rather than risking not going anywhere just in case I don't get accepted anywhere else. Good luck!
