Declining Residency Interview

If you get offered multiple interviews from different programs at the same day, how do you formally decline? Do you know if programs are flexible to reschedule the interview dates? I want to respectfully decline without being rude. Thanks!

You should ask for an alternative interview date before declining

If they only give you one day to interview, then you will have to pick which ones you really want to interview at. It is perfectly acceptable to tell them you already have an obligation that day and see if they have an alternate day for you. If they don't then you will have to just decline.
