Hey guys, do you think it is too late to ask NYU for a deferment? My family's been having financial issues and the more I think ~ it, the more I realize that I don't have a choice other than to defer my 2013 admission. Has anyone here deferred their 2013 enrollment?

I didn't even know you could defer enrollment..I guess you should talk to NYU directly asap, instead of SDNers 😛

I'm not 100% sure either, but the word on the street is that it's possible.

I'm sure if they do it it's on a case by case basis, so you really would have to talk with the school.

It is possible..but you have to do it asap because they need time to replace your seat. So the earlier you try to do it, the higher the chances of getting a deferment.
